"Mother Nature's Son"

Yester-day, I listened to The Beatles again and noticed two small points in "Mother Nature's Son," both in the line "All day long I'm sitting, singing songs for ev'ryone."  "Day" is sung with a melisma (B F#), hinting at the extent of "all."  The phrase "sitting, singing songs" exhibits alliteration (the initial Ss) and consonance (the repeated "ng"), and retaining these sounds from one word to the next gives a sense of the duration of "all day."
